Looking for a the ultimate luxury getaway in the Maldives? Look no further than the spectacular Milaidhoo. Situated on a pristine dive site and complete with your own personal island host, you cannot go wrong. From the luxurious yacht pick up at your seaplane, to your personal butler waking you up with a fresh pot of coffee at sunrise, there are few places in the world as spectacular as Milaidhoo. With a high price tag, comes high expectations and they blew it out of the water.
Every room at Milaidhoo is massive, with a sweeping balcony (over water or on the beach) and indoor-outdoor living. We were blown away by the attention to detail in every aspect of the stay. All the furniture is created by native Maldivians in the traditional style and we were absolutely in love with the woodwork and craftsmanship of the architecture.
It’s hard to pick a favorite feature of the hotel when it comes to such a spectacular place, but one of our favorite things was the brunch. Complete with champagne and french delicacies, you can spend your day lounging around and eating delicious food, while staring out at the endless blue.

Hi Maren & Max,
A little note from Amsterdam, The Netherlands 🙂 With great pleasure I’ve read your review on Milaidhoo. We wanted to book this, but then we saw The Nautilus. And were blown away with it. Did you ever visit this island? sincerely, hartelijke groet, Mariska Schram

Hey Mariska! Thanks for reaching out! We have not yet been to Nautilus but we have heard it’s a better properties for larger groups or multi-generational trips, for example. Versus Milaidhoo is a big more romantic and couples focused. Both are great options and they’re owned by the same group so I have no doubt the quality is the same at both properties :). If you’d like, feel free to email me at team@voyagerguru.com. I have some partners that offer great perk with luxury properties in the Maldives so I’m happy to provide you with a cost comparison! xx, Maren
