We’re so excited to present the Andaz Papagayo in Costa Rica- a true gem along the coast. When we first saw the Andaz from the water, we had no idea what we were in for because you could hardly tell this natural beauty existed between the trees and hills of Papagayo.

Nestled along a ridge, the Andaz provides an excellent value with true luxury service. The staff go through the same training as the employees at the Four Seasons Papagayo and truly understand what good service is. Our favorite parts of our stay had to be the food and the room views.

The dining offerings were totally al-fresco and so delicious. From empanadas to fantastic cocktails, you can’t go wrong. Breakfast featured a delicious coffee bar, where guests could choose from a variety of styles. We definitely preferred the delicious taste of Costa Rican coffee and thoroughly enjoyed our morning ritual. The rooms were the other incredible feature at the Andaz Papagayo. The combined indoor-outdoor shower and expansive balcony made this such a unique room. We spent our evening lounging on the balcony, looking at the twinkling lights on the water. It was truly amazing- just wait until you see it!

We’re big Hyatt people due to the excellent value you get for your points with the Hyatt program and the Andaz is no different. We booked our stay using our free night award from our credit card (the property has since bumped up 1 tier, however) and we found tremendous value in their offerings. Even if we returned and had to pay additional points or in cash, I would not hesitate to stay at the Andaz.
